Implementing Ideas From ourTraining Sessions

The Takeaway

Without the discipline to follow through, your best ideas have no chance of coming to fruition. If this sounds like you, there’s a simple method to ensure you take action on what you feel are your very best ideas or opportunities.

The Three R’s of Implementation

Make a list of takeaways that inspired you the most and run it through the three R’s of implementation to determine which ones should be acted upon.

1. Relevant

Identify which elements of our sessions are applicable to your role and/or company, and always keep in mind your resources. Our speaker should know the audience, and therefore tailor their content to be relevant to that audience. It’s important to be able to identify the ideas presented that actually apply to your role.

2. Realistic

Keep it real. Establishing unrealistic goals and strategies is just as demoralizing as not having any at all. Get inspired by amazing ideas during our sales training session can be exhilarating; but why not select just one to start with?

Ask a teammate to be an accountability coach to help you stay on task. Let them know what you took away from our training session, what you’d like to accomplish with it and how you plan to take action. Then, ask them to check in with you weekly on how you’re progressing.

3. Refine

Refine what you’ve learned to fit within your company’s existing strategies. You don’t have to follow verbatim the tips and strategies you learned.

In fact, you will probably find that you will be more successful by tweaking these ideas and making them your own.

Move From Motivation and Inspiration to Action

As you may have realized, it’s not enough to be motivated – you need to take action.

When you attend our training session, where several speakers deliver inspirational speeches that move your very soul, you get a fire lit within you, and an urge and hunger to succeed is awakened.

For the best results, find a way to take action within one week’s timeframe. Write down your takeaway and share your timeframe with your accountability coach. If you need to, make appointments with yourself in your calendar to stay on track. After all, what good is a great idea if not acted on!
